As the UK prepares to observe Sexual Abuse & Sexual Violence Awareness Week from the 5th to 11th of February, Savana stands committed to raising awareness, fostering dialogue, and offering support for survivors. This year, Savana is proud to announce a series of impactful events designed to create a safe space for reflection, learning, and community engagement.
Coffee & Crafts (Client Only) - Monday, 5th February:
Savana understands the importance of creating a safe and supportive environment for survivors. In an exclusive event for female clients, we invite you to join ‘Coffee & Crafts,’ a session focused on connection, healing, and artistic expression. This intimate gathering aims to provide a space for survivors to connect with one another and explore the therapeutic benefits of creativity.
Face-to-Face Training: Adult Survivors of Sexual Abuse - Thursday, 8th February:
Education is a powerful tool for change. On Thursday, Savana will host a face-to-face training session, delving into theories surrounding adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse, practical approaches to support, and the importance of adopting a trauma-informed approach. This training is ideal for professionals seeking to enhance their knowledge and skills in assisting survivors on their journey.
